In 1999 a young 5 year old girl took to the field for the first time at Parramatta Melita Eagles and continued to play for the Club until she was 8 or 9 years old.

In 2017, this now young lady will be competing against Melbourne City on Sunday 12th February in the Wesfields W-League Grand Final.

Parramatta FC (formerly
Parramatta Melita Eagles) would like to congratulate Patricia Charalambous on her achievements since leaving Parramatta Melita Eagles.

In 2013 Patricia played in the UEFA Womens Champions League for Apollon Ladies FC in Cyprus and also represented her Club in many other games.

Patricia recently played for Blacktown Spartans where she was awarded First Grade Player of the Year in 2016.

In October 2016, Patricia signed with Perth Glory and is now preparing for a Grand Final.

As quoted by Anna Charalambous (Patricias mother),

‘We are very proud of Patricia’s achievements so far, and very happy that Patrica’s original club was Parramatta Melita Eagles.’

Anna also went on to say, ‘I think it is important that the Club (Parramatta Melita Eagles) should be proud that they played a major part in Patricia’s soccer career from a very young age, and that is where it began, and we would like to say thankyou.’

Parramatta FC are very proud of Patricia Charalambous and wish her all the very best in the upcoming Grand Final.
